Super mario bros. it’s a videogame created for the Famicom console in Japan and the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in America and Europe. Mario had allready appeared before in two games: Donkey Kong (where he was know as Jumpman), and Mario Bros. Anyway, Super Mario Bros. was the game that made him popular, making him the principal icon of Nintendo; and the most famous videogame star.
Also, it presents for the first time the Princess Peach Toadstool, Toad, and Bowser (King Koopa in Japan), and the other characters.
This game is considered by a lot of people the first TRUE platform game of lateral movement in the history. Super Mario Bros. also offered for the first time huge worlds, brillants and expansive, that changed forever the way of playing and creating videogames.

The game was designed by the acclaimed Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario character. The famous music was composed by the by the Nintendo star, Koji Kondo.
